I am the Search Architect at Powerset, a San Francisco-based startup working on natural language search.

Prior to joining Powerset, I held the following positions:

  • Architect on the Yahoo! websearch team, where I focused on issues of performance and scalability for the runtime query-serving system
  • Chief Engineer at i-drive.com, where worked on large-scale web-based storage applications
  • Lead engineer at Connectix where I worked on products dealing with virtual memory, virtual machines, and emulation, such as RAM Doubler, Speed Doubler, and Virtual PC
